Here are few tidbits about Garrett. Some you may already know & some
you may not. Check back often for updates on Garrett.
Garrett's Birthday: May 24, 2005.
Birth Weight & Length: 8 pounds 3 ounces & 21.5
inches long.
Birth Time & Place: 5:14AM & Royal Oak Beaumont
Hospital.
Favorite Movies: Definitely
"John Deere For
Kids
Series"
by TM Books & Video. He loves all their products as do I. I HIGHLY
recommend them for both the young & old. They have GREAT
train, and other
videos also. Click HERE
to visit TM books web site.
Favorite Foods: Pasta, French Fries, Chicken
Nuggets, Brownies, Grapes.
Least Favorite Foods: Meat.
First Train: Lionel Polar Express which will be
displayed around the Christmas tree for the first time this year.
Latest Train: Lionel Thomas the train set. We
have since purchased the Sodor expansion pack. The Percy engine arrived
in late January. Garrett loves to run Thomas, and his friends. I love to
watch his face light up when he sees them.
Current Fuss Level:
On a scale from 1-10... is a 7. It appears that we are fast
approaching the terrible twos. He is still a very good boy, but will all
of the sudden just have these traumatic melt downs that can last for
5-25 minutes.

Garrett Tidbits 2/25/06 - Garrett is
talking more & more now. His newest words are Nana (which he calls
my Mom), Apapa (which he calls my Dad), Hi Fred, Hi Boog (my parents
dogs), Hi Sass (to Grandma Boytim's cat), Oh Wow!, Oh Thanks.
-
He has been a very generous kiss & hug giver
lately. Especially when I get home from work. There's nothing like a
face full of kisses!
-
He still loves his John Deere as much as ever, and
is now starting to sing the music from his TM DVD's. It's so cute to
watch him sing & dance.
-
Garrett is a GREAT dancer. He loves to dance.
-
Garrett Tidbits 3/26/06 - Garrett is not
crawling & climbing with a vengeance. It only took about 1 hour for
him to figure out how to climb the stairs so gates went up
immediately.
-
Garrett is also walking along furniture, and with
some of his toys that promote walking so we are kind of expecting
that he will be walking some time in the not to distant future.
-
Garrett has discovered that there is water in the
toilet. This is a problem. To him it's just a small bathtub to
splash, and play in. Needless to say we are getting the childproof
toilet locks.
-
Garrett Tidbits 10/17/05 - Garrett is doing
really well. He really loves to play. He talks to himself a lot now,
and it's one of my favorite things to sit there and talk gibberish
back and forth with him. He still has no teeth, but he loves to grab
hold of things and chew on them. His demeanor is still unchanged so
he is still a happy go lucky guy all of the time. He has now tried
chicken & turkey dinners, and has had no ill affects so he has not
inherited his Mom's food allergies.
-
Garrett went for his very first swim in the
Brennan's new pool a couple weeks ago before the cool weather set
in. He really enjoyed it. So did his Mom. Click
HERE to see some photos.
-
Garrett Tidbits 9/13/05 - Garrett loves to
gab. We have no idea what he's telling us, but it's still fun to
listen to. He is also starting to balance really well. We can set
him on the couch, and he will pretty much sit forward & balance
himself. Of course he still does the occasional face plant which he
can recover from. To check out what I mean click
HERE.
-
Garrett has seems to have developed a "baby crush"
on Alison. He gives her the funniest looks. They are truly classics.
To see them click

photos or compliments of Alison Eberhard.

We are having some photos taken of Garrett on
9/16/05. I will be posting them in an album here online the following
week once we receive the proofs. If anyone has any interest in
ordering some just contact us and let us know. We will order them
when we order our prints. I should receive a price list from the
photographer on the 16th.
-
Garrett is on to stage 2 foods as of last week. So
far he has tried Beef N' Carrots, and Macaroni & Cheese. We will be
introducing a chicken dinner soon.
- Garrett Tidbits 8/28/05 - For any of you who have seen
him lately I guess the biggest news would be his growth. He is about
17 pounds & 26 inches long, and he just turned 3 months old. It even
amazes me & I see him every day. His strength & control of his motor
functions are increasing just as fast. This is a really fun time for
Stacey & I because he amazes us with something new almost every day.
- "Midnight Mover" - Garrett has figured out how to crawl on his
back. During the night he will go from one end of the crib to the
other & "crawl" right out of his PJ's. Click
HERE to see
what I mean.
- Teeth are getting close - He is really chewing on everything.
There are a few bright white spots on his gums so we are guessing
that they should be popping through soon as Dr. Mueller mentioned. I
will post pictures as soon as the 1st one arrives.
