Other than my son, family, & friends these trains are one of my favorite things. I love running & collecting them. I can't wait for the days when Garrett is old enough to sit at the controls, and run some trains with Dad, and Grandpa. I already have Garrett's first train set. It was a tough one to find. It is the very limited Polar Express set Lionel produced in 2004. Once again my good buddies at Wild Bills trains help me put my hands on one. If you ever have any interest in trains or need anything for your collection take my advice & call Wild Bills. They are the best around. I will be adding many photos in the days to come so stay tuned...

Why Trains?

I think the motto on the Glancy Train Club's homepage says it best... "Toy Trains Make A Boy Feel Like A Man, And A Man Feel Like A Boy". That simple phrase really says a lot doesn't it. The man & the boy are both trying to travel in different directions. The man is trying to travel backwards, while the boy is doing his best to travel ahead a bit. The funny thing is they both end up using the same method of transportation to get there, and that's the simple beauty of toy trains. This isn't a man's hobby or boy's hobby. This isn't a black hobby or a white hobby. Toy trains have no prejudice. Man, Woman, Boy, Girl, Black, White, or anything else. Once you have the CAB1 in your hand, or your hand on the controls you are the Conductor, and everyone around is a passenger on your line at that moment. I promise you when that whistle blows they will all eagerly await the journey that you are about to embark on. So while their journeys may take each of them to a different place for their own special reasons they all share that same special ride that takes them there. All Aboard!!
